At Tessendorf Chiropractic, we provide care for neck pain, back pain, joint concerns, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We evaluate patients of all ages, from infants to older adults, and have proudly served Columbus and the surrounding communities for more than 20 years.
Dr. Tessendorf works collaboratively with local medical doctors, physical therapists, orthopedic providers, and spine specialists to help patients receive appropriate, well-coordinated care. He also works closely with Columbus Community Hospital, where he has ordering privileges, and can provide DOT physical examinations through Occupational Health Services.
What sets our office apart is our commitment to careful evaluation before treatment begins. While many patients come to us with joint pain, discomfort can sometimes be related to other underlying conditions that require a different type of care. When chiropractic treatment is appropriate, we develop a plan based on your individual needs. When another provider or specialty is better suited to address the concern, we will help guide you to the appropriate next step. Our priority is making sure every patient receives the right care, whether that care takes place in our office or elsewhere.

Outside the office, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife, Abbie, and their children. With much of their family located within a few hours of Columbus, they value staying connected and being involved in the community. Travis and Abbie enjoy supporting their children’s activities, including football, basketball, baseball, track, and dance, which often take the family throughout Nebraska and beyond.
Our staff is an important part of the care experience at Tessendorf Chiropractic. Michelle serves as Office Manager, while Lanette continues to support the practice part-time following 19 years of service as Office Manager. Denise and Teresa also remain integral members of the team. The entire staff is experienced with insurance billing and is available to help answer questions throughout your visit.
